Wow, I've neglected this site :S I kept meaning to post, then forgetting; I'd blame it on the revision, but I actually still haven't done all that much... yeah, I'm going to fail my GCSEs...

Anyway, today was the last day of year eleven! Next time I go back to school, I'll be a big mature sixth former (apart from the GCSEs, of course... speaking of which, my art GCSE starts tomorrow, and I still haven't come up with an idea for my final piece... eep).

Today was fun. The morning was a bit crap, because everyone started getting really emotional and bursting into tears, which made me feel sad even though none of my friends are leaving. The afternoon was awesome though - went to the park, where practically all the people in my year had congregated, and some people had managed to set up a barbeque :) Several people attempted (unsuccessfully) to drag me into the river (yeah, my friends are so kind), so now not only does my shirt have signatures all over it, but there's a massive grass stain on the back - it's a good thing I won't have to wear uniform next year!

I have a new hobby: quoting Pinky and the Brain incessantly over MSN. Eg,

Boyfriend: So, what u up 2 right now?
Me: The same thing I do every night, Pinky - trying to take over the world!
Boyfriend (after a considerable amount of time): So did u actually watch Harry Potter last night?

I love it when he doesn't know what to say, so he changes the subject :)

Anyway. Cambridge was okay. Not as fun as I'd hoped it would be though, because my cousins were ill so I couldn't meet up with them as I'd planned, which left me on my own for most of yesterday. I ended up wandering around town for about six hours... which was okay for a while, but got a bit repetitive. I almost got hit by a bus though, which added some colour to the day. I also got hit on by some chavs, which was actually kind of scary at the time, as they were in a massive group, but is funny in retrospect.

And I forgot to visit my postbox :(

As the title suggests, in a couple of hours I'm heading off to Cambridge - the city I lived in for 14 years - and will be staying there for a couple of days. I can't wait! Last time I went was February, methinks, and I ended up licking a postbox. There is photo evidence.

Like the bio says, I'm really mainly starting this for the sake of procrastination, but that's why I do most things so I suppose it doesn't make much of a change.
Right now, I'm sittin' here (here being in an armchair in the living room) in my pjs, eating Kellogs' Fruit 'n' Fibre, watching The Bill on ITV, and - I suppose - talking to myself, considering I don't actually have any LJ friends at the moment.
O what an exciting life I lead... ;)
